Urfi Javed Breaks Silence On Repeated Complaints and Threats Because of Her Bold Outfits

The actress, who recently sought protection from the Maharashtra State Commission for Women, was speaking in the context of politician Chitra Wagh’s complaint against her.

“There are big political leaders who want to take things into their own hands. If they think something is illegal, they should go to police or court, but people here want to take law into their own hands by threatening me publicly and saying they will kill me. So I feel insecure and I am left with no other option. It is not an ordinary person who is threatening me, but a politician who has the power to influence many people. Many people follow them, and in this way, they can influence people to kill Me. It is not right,” Urfi told E-Times.

Urfi also defended her choice of clothes and admitted that she was ‘doing it to get attention’. “This industry is all about gaining popularity and getting attention, so what’s wrong with that?” she added.

Urfi Javed also shared that she is not the only one who has worn ‘such clothes’ and argued that there are many girls who share bikini pictures on social media. “I am just 25 years old who has not done anything wrong and these people are making me a criminal. They are complaining about my clothes but are not ready to say anything to those who have been threatening me with murder and rape. These people have no problem with my clothes, they are just here to get some attention using my name.
