Bigg Boss 15 fame Prateek Sahajpal is one of the most loved stars on television. The actor recently made headlines for his music video ‘Tu Laut Aa’, which also featured Kashika Kapoor. While the video of the song is being widely appreciated, a viral video from the ‘Tu Laut Aa’ event saw a disturbed Prateik trying to walk out after Kashika tried to clear the controversy related to the song. In a video shared by popular Bollywood paparazzo Viral Bhayani, Prateik is upset with his and Kashika’s feud. As the clip begins, we see Kashika addressing the controversy saying, “There are a lot of disputes going on between us. All I wanted to say was that it was a publicity stunt.” Prateek cuts off the conversation saying, “Let’s not talk about it. I don’t want to talk about it.” He even stood up to drop the song’s promotion in between, but was urged to stop. At the end of the video, Prateek asks the media persons to take a separate interview.
Scores of Prateek’s fans took to the comments section and praised Prateek alleging that “Kashika is using Prateek to gain popularity and fame.”
While a fan wrote, “Knocking down your own co-star to get cheap publicity??? With this disgusting PR stunt you spoiled yourself Salute to Prateek for still continuing the promotions This is what is called real professionalism. Another wrote, “Don’t use a symbol name for a publicity stunt.”
It all started when Prateek posted a cryptic tweet on Twitter about having a shadow on him. He wrote, ‘Brother what should I say. I am a hardworking man who believes in lifting people up. Make me overshadow my luck and I will be the only one who deserves the mehndi!
As far as Kashika is concerned, before the release of the music video, she posted a screengrab of Instagram Stories and reportedly accused Prateek of editing her scenes from the clip. She even said that she paid people to cut her scenes from ‘Tu Laut Aa’.
The actress posted a screengrab of the warmth she received on Twitter after Prateik posted a tweet about her being ‘overshed’.
Meanwhile, Tu Laut Aa featuring Kashika and Prateek released on Tuesday, April 12. It is an emotional romantic song about how the two deal with their heartbreak and the problems they face in their relationship. The song is sung by Yasar Desai and Prakriti Kakkar.
