UPSC IES, ISS 2022 Notification today at upsc.gov.in, all you need to know

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS) will release the notification for the examination 2022 today, April 6. Once released, the notification will be released on the official website – upsc.gov.in.

The commission may conduct the IES and ISS exams from June 24 to June 26 at various centers across the country. According to the UPSC calendar, the online registration for the IES and ISS exams will continue till April 26.

UPSC IES, ISS Exam 2022: Eligibility Criteria

UPSC IES Those wishing to apply for IES must have passed post graduation in economics, applied economics, business economics or econometrics from a recognized university.

UPSC ISS Candidates should have completed their graduation from a recognized university with their main subjects in statistics, mathematical statistics or applied statistics. He must have also passed Master’s degree in the same subject.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on Online Application Form for IES/ISS

Step 3: Fill the form with required details

Step 4: Upload Documents

Step 5: Pay the application fee. Presented

Step 6: Save and download the filled UPSC IES/ISS application form and take a printout of the same for future reference.

UPSC IES, ISS Exam 2022: Application Fee

The application fee is Rs 200, however, female candidates and those belonging to SC, ST and PWD are exempted from paying the application fee.

UPSC IES, ISS Exam 2022: Exam Pattern

The exam will be conducted in pen and paper mode and will have questions from General English and subject related subjects. The exam will be conducted for two to three hours over three days. Those who qualify the exam are eligible for the job in the respective government departments. If they clear the written test then they will also have to go through an interview process. Every year around two lakh candidates appear in the exam.
