India third country to report 5 lakh Kovid deaths
India became the third country in the world to officially record over 5 lakh Covid-19 deaths. The US had recorded over 9.1 lakh Covid-19 deaths, followed by Brazil with nearly 6.3 lakh Covid-19 deaths so far. Russia comes fourth with 3.3 lakh deaths followed by Mexico with 3.07 lakh deaths. The death toll in India reached 4 lakh on July 1, 2020. It was also the longest time taken for a 1 lakh increase in deaths, thus indicating a reduction in deaths.

Lata Mangeshkar death
Lata Mangeshkar passed away at the age of 92 after suffering from multi-organ failure. He breathed his last on February 6 at 8:12 am. She was diagnosed with COVID-19 last month and was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital for 29 days. He had tested positive for Covid-19 on January 8 with mild symptoms. He was also undergoing treatment for pneumonia.
