Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) The Detailed Application Form (DAF) for Civil Services (Main) Examination 2022 has been released. Candidates who qualify for the Preliminary Examination are eligible to apply for the Main Examination. One can apply online and fill DAF-1 form through UPSC official website upsc.gov.in. The last date for submission of applications is July 15 till 6 pm.
UPSC conducted the CSE Preliminary Exam 2022 on June 5 at centers across the country. The prelims result was declared on June 22. The candidates who cleared the exam will now have to appear for the main exam, which will be conducted from September 16 this year.

Step 1: Visit the official website of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
Step 2: Click on the link for UPSC CSE Mains 2022 DAF.
Step 3: Click on the name of the exam and register yourself.
Step 4: Fill the required details and upload the required documents to complete the application form.
Step 5: Proceed to pay the application fee.
Step 6: Submit the application form and save it for future reference.
UPSC CSE DAF 2022: Application Fee
The application fee for UPSC CSE Main exam is Rs 200. Women candidates and those belonging to SC, ST and PWBD categories are exempted from paying the fee.
UPSC CSE Mains 2022: Exam Pattern
UPSC CSE Main exam consists of a written exam followed by an interview or personality test. The written test will consist of nine papers consisting of conventional essay-type questions from the subjects listed in the notification. Two of these papers will be of qualifying nature.
The total weightage of CSE Main written exam will be 1750 marks. Candidates who obtain minimum qualifying marks in the written examination will have to appear for interview or personality test, which has a weightage of 275 marks. The marks obtained by the candidates in the compulsory papers of written examination (Paper-I to VII) and interview will be counted for ranking.
