Union Minister Bisheshwar Tudu gave this statement on Saturday during a program at a government school in Balasore district.
Odisha BJP leader and Union Minister Bisheshwar Tudu said on Saturday that many officers selected through the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) are dacoits. He alleged that a chicken thief can be punished, but the officer who runs the mineral mafia cannot even be touched as the system protects him. Bisheshwar said this during a program at a government school in Balasore district.
Bisheshwar said – I used to think people educated from UPSC are knowledgeable
Bisheshwar said, ‘The UPSC office is right behind my residence in Delhi. I had a lot of respect for it in the beginning, but no longer. I used to think that those who get appointed through UPSC are the most knowledgeable. They are always on high position. But now I feel most of the people who have qualified from there are dacoits. I do not say that 100% of the people are dacoits, but many of those officers are dacoits.
There was a lot of respect for UPSC earlier, but not anymore
He questioned that if such educated people are there in our society then why is our society immersed in corruption and injustice. This is because of the lack of ethics in our education system. There is a dearth of spiritual education and ideas among us.
