UPPSC PCS 2023: The last date to apply for UPPSC PCS 2023 is April 6, and the exam fee should be paid by April 3. The preliminary exam is to be held on May 14

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has started the registration process for the highly coveted Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Examination, commonly known as UPPSC PCS 2023, today, March 3. Candidates can send their applications online to the official address of the commission. Website uppsc.up.nic.in.

The last date to apply for UPPSC PCS 2023 is April 6, and the exam fee should be paid by April 3. The preliminary exam is scheduled for May 14. Based on last year’s statistics it is estimated that lakhs of people will appear for this exam. In 2022, six lakh candidates are expected to appear for the UPPSC PCS exam.

For UPPSC PCS 2023, candidates must be at least 21 years old and not more than 40 years old. The cut-off date for determining the lower and upper age limit is July 1, 2023. Upper age limit is relaxable for reserved categories candidates. There are around 173 vacancies for Combined State/Higher Subordinate Services this year.

UPPSC PCS 2023: How to apply

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Commission, uppsc.up.nic.in.

On the homepage you will get a registration link. Click on it to go to the registration window.

First complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) process.

Once this is done, proceed to the process of filling the application form.

You need to fill details like full name, date of birth and other personal information.

Fill your details and upload the required documents.

Pay the application fee and submit the form.

Keep a copy of the application form with you for future reference.

Those who qualify the preliminary and main written test will be shortlisted for the interview round. The number of vacancies is around 73. UPPSC PSC Preliminary Exam will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for 400 marks. There will be a total of nine papers in the main examination, out of which seven will be compulsory and two will be optional. It consists of a total of 1,500 marks. The interview will be conducted for 100 marks.
