Keeping an eye on the upcoming assembly elections, the BJP leadership briefed the MPs of Uttar Pradesh about their role in the electoral state. During the first day of a two-day meeting at the Delhi Constitution Club, the BJP asked UP MPs to complete the COVID-19 vaccination campaign on time and make provisions to control the third wave of the pandemic.

BJP, Uttar Pradesh general secretary Subrata Pathak, who is also an MP from Unnao, said the party leadership asked him to appoint a male and female trained healthcare volunteer in every village to help treat COVID-19 patients. .

“In today’s meeting, discussions were held about the upcoming programs of our organization and the role of all our MPs in them. There was also discussion regarding vaccination. We were asked to complete the vaccination and all our people were given It was asked to ensure that the constituency got a second dose. Also, in every village, we were asked to appoint one trained woman, one male health volunteer so that if there was a possibility of a third wave, they would be treated. He has to be equipped with a complete kit to tackle COVID,” said Pathak.

According to Meerut MP Rajendra Agrawal, the BJP leadership asked the MPs to work shoulder to shoulder with the grassroots workers, so that the work of both the state and central governments can be taken to every citizen.

“BJP has been working since 12 months. It is not worried about elections only, because public service is the motto of our organization. We remain active even when there are no elections. But now elections are coming up in Uttar Pradesh, so it is natural. They were deliberately discussed in the meeting there. For the next six-seven months, till the elections are held in February-March, our MPs will also be active shoulder to shoulder with the grassroots workers,” Agarwal said.

He said that on the second day of the meeting on Thursday, the same things will be discussed.

“Within the structure of the organization we will all play our role as workers. The main thing is that the work we have done, the work that our government has done, sabka saath, sabka vikas, sabka vishwas, the same will continue. Uttar Pradesh has made a lot of development under the BJP government in four-and-a-half years. We will win the next election based on the work done by our government.”

The meeting of UP BJP MPs was presided over by party president JP Nadda and attended by UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. UP BJP President Swatantra Dev Singh, Sunil Bansal, General Secretary (Organization) and BJP state in-charge Radha Mohan Singh were also present in the meeting.
