UP Police Tweaks ‘Jawan’ Into Social Message But In A Epic Way; Check It Here

New Delhi: The Uttar Pradesh Police has taken note from Nagpur Police and also used the ‘Jawan’ craze to educate people on road safety. In a recent tweet, the UP Police had posted a photo in which, Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ has been used as an example.

The Uttar Pradesh Police created a meme with the tagline: ‘Jawan ho ya budhe, two-wheeler pe baithne se pehle, helmet kabhi na bhule (Young or old, never forget your helmet when riding a bike)”.

The eye-catching tweet attracted 1.6 Million views and 59.7K likes on blog X. UP Police has given a creative twist to Bollywood songs and movies to send a social message to the masses.

State police insist that you wear a helmet when riding your bike to avoid having your face completely bandaged. To visualize this, they used footage of SRK from the film, where his face can be seen covered in bandages.

Netizens on X praised the creative public awareness campaign. One of the users took no time to say, “Ak hi to dil hai kitni baar jeetoge up police  (How many times you win a single heart?).”

Reacting to the post, one user said, “What a clever use of images.”

Machenism Behind Memes Generation 

A SP, UP Police Social Media Cell, Rahul Srivastava said that creating such memes requires a lot of thinking. He told media persons that they have to monitor latest trends so they can make ful use of it and oreint a message aroun it.

He said generating and sharing memes with social message help them to expand their reach and connect organically with people.
