UP: Muslim trader brutally beaten, stripped naked for not chanting ‘Jai Shri Ram’ in Delhi-Moradabad express train

News agency ANI reported today that a brass trader was stripped naked and brutally thrashed by two men for not raising slogans of Jai Shri Ram.
The incident took place when businessman Aseem Hussain was returning from Delhi to Moradabad by Padmavat Express train. The businessman has been identified as Aseem Hussain, a resident of Moradabad.

Some people who boarded the train at Hapur station started attacking him in the moving train. He asked them to chant ‘Jai Shri Ram’. The victim told that the attackers grabbed his beard and started calling him a thief ‘without any reason’.

The video of this entire incident has now gone viral on social media.

Victim Aseem Hussain told that the attackers wanted him to chant ‘Jai Shri Ram’, but when he refused to do so, they attacked him and started beating him with a belt till he was unconscious Gone. He even took off his clothes. There were many people in the train, but no one came to save him and when the train reached near Moradabad station, before the train reached the platform, someone threw him from the train.

He somehow reached home with the help of one of his acquaintances, but did not file a complaint due to fear. But someone in the train made a video of the entire incident and made it viral. After the video went viral, the victim also came forward and complained about the incident that happened to her.

Two accused arrested from Bareilly

The CO of GRP Moradabad revealed that two youths involved in the attack have been arrested by the police from Bareilly railway station. The entire matter is being investigated. According to the police, action will be taken on the complaint made by the victim. The incident is being seriously investigated. On the other hand, after the video of the incident went viral, the terrified victim came forward and narrated her ordeal raising questions about the safety of the passengers on the train.
