Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has praised his government for its handling of the COVID-19 crisis during the second wave, saying it was the best in the world. He compared the COVID crisis management of Uttar Pradesh with that of the United States, saying that since the start of the pandemic, UP has reported 22,900 deaths, however, the US has 6 lakh deaths due to coronavirus. He said that after seeing the crisis of oxygen during the second wave, the UP government has installed 551 new O2 plants. UP is now fully equipped to fight the third wave of COVID-19.
