Police on Tuesday arrested a man who had allegedly threatened to kill BJP’s Unnao MP Sakshi Maharaj. Circle Officer Binu Singh said that the MP’s colleague Hasnain Bakai has filed a case in Safipur Kotwali alleging that on Tuesday, a person threatened to blow up the MP over the phone. Safipur resident Saeed Ahmed was traced with the help of electronic surveillance and arrested.
Further investigation is on, the CO said.
