Mahesh Chandra Srivastava, president, said, “The mandate in this election is a clear indication that the Yogi Adityanath government has been successful in fulfilling their expectations and aspirations to a great extent. BJP supporters celebrated in other parts of the city as well. A group of Hindu Yuva Vahini workers in the Teliabagh area arranged a musical system of singing in praise of Yogi Adityanath. Besides this, small groups of BJP supporters were also seen celebrating the occasion in other areas like Jaddumandi Laksa area, Jai Prakash Nagar and Nirala Nagar. Ram Vilas Singh of Jai Prakash Nagar, a BJP supporter, said, “We were confident of BJP’s victory.

Sankat Prasad, who sells flowers and puja items at the ghat, said most people were expecting BJP’s victory in the elections.
Meanwhile, several Muslim women associated with Muslim Mahila Foundation and volunteers of Vishal Bharat Sansthan also celebrated the occasion by beating drums and bursting firecrackers in Lamhi village.
MMF President Nazneen Ansari said, “The victory of Modi and Yogi is the victory of Muslim women. We are grateful to the people for re-electing the Yogi government for the safety of Muslim women.”
