A shocking case of corona infection has come to light in Mumbai. Here the doctor has come corona positive thrice so far in June last year. The special thing is that twice they have been infected after getting the vaccine.

Dr. Srishti Halari became corona positive for the first time on 17 June 2020 while working at BMC’s Kovid Center. After that she became corona positive on 29 May 2021 and 11 July 2021. Whereas before May, he had received both doses of the vaccine.

Srishti’s sample collected for genome sequencing
After Dr. Srishti Halari, a resident of Mulund area, got corona infected thrice, her sample has now been collected for genome sequencing. According to doctors, there can be many reasons behind the infection for the third time. In these, from the variant of corona to immunity level or wrong test report can also be a big reason.

Two samples of Dr. Halari have been collected. One of these has been taken by BMC and the other by a private hospital. A BMC official said that it is being ascertained from Dr. Halari’s sample that what was the reason for his getting infected despite vaccination. Its report is yet to come.

Dr. Srishti Halari said, ‘The first time I got infected with Kovid, it was because a colleague was found infected. Then I finished my posting and decided to take a break before PG Admission exam and stayed at home. In July, my entire family was in the grip of corona infection.

May not be completely cured Second infection
Dr. Mehul Thakkar, who is treating Srishti, said that it is possible that the second infection that occurred in May has become active again in July. Or the RT-PCR report has come negative. On the other hand, FMR director Dr. Nargis Mistry said that for the third time, a new variant of corona could also be the reason for the infection.
