Unfortunately! Pankaj Tripathi refutes reports of joining Pawan Kalyan’s next film

Actor Pankaj Tripathi on Wednesday rubbished reports that he will be seen in a Telugu film opposite south superstar Pawan Kalyan. There were reports earlier in the day which said that the “Mirzapur” star has joined the cast of Kalyan’s next film “Bhavdeyudu Bhagat Singh”. In a brief statement, Tripathi denied the news but said that he is looking forward to working with Kalyan “someday soon”.

“I was very happy to read the news of doing a film with Pawan Kalyan on social media. I am a fan of his work. But as much as I want this news to be true, unfortunately it is not so. But I hope I get it. To work with him someday soon,” said the 45-year-old actor.

Tripathi is currently awaiting the release of his upcoming film “Bachchan Pandey”, in which he co-stars. Akshay Kumar, masterpiece i say, Jacqueline Fernandez and Arshad Warsi. Directed by Farhad Samji, the film also features a talented ensemble cast including Sanjay Mishra and Abhimanyu Singh. Produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the film is all set to hit the theaters on March 18.

The actor will also star with Kumar in “Oh My God 2”, which is currently in production. Written and directed by Amit Rai, OMG 2 is produced by Cape of Good Film, Vipul D Shah, Rajesh Bahl and Ashwin Varde. Earlier, Akshay Kumar shared a video with Pankaj Tripathi, where the former was seen donning his avatar of Lord Shiva. The duo was walking across the sets near the Mahakaleshwar temple. “Where the beginning of the universe, where the departure of the universe, Lord of the beginning and eternity, my friend @pankajtripathi reached Ujjain, the city of ascetics to seek the blessings of Lord Mahakal,” Akshay captioned the video.
