The Kerala government has decided to relax the lockdown rules later this week in view of the Bakrid festival falling on July 21. There will be relaxation in the total lockdown rules on 18, 19 and 20 July in those local bodies which come under A, B and C categories based on test positivity rate.
In these three days, shops other than those selling essential goods will be allowed to function till 8 pm. These include clothing shops, footwear shops, electronics shops, fancy shops and jewelery shops.
