SP (Crime) Satish Chandra told reporters that the incident took place around 7.30 am when the minor son of deceased Deepak Shukla urinated on a “Kharja” road near Neelu’s house. When Deepak’s real uncle Neelu saw the boy urinating, he expressed his anguish and the two families soon came face to face over the issue.
“As the matter escalated, accused Neelu took out a licensed SBBL gun from his house and opened fire on the opponents, injuring both the cousins ​​seriously.
Police said that Deepak Shukla succumbed to his injuries on the way to the hospital, while Vaibhav was being treated at the hospital.
Hearing the sound of bullets, relatives and neighbors reached the spot and saw both of them covered in blood. On receiving the information, the police team from Karchana reached the village and took both of them to the hospital where the doctors declared Deepak dead.
An FIR has been registered against the accused Neelu under sections 302 (murder) and 307 (attempt to murder) of the IPC in this regard.
