Uma Bharti said that women in Gujarat roam like ‘Lionesses of Gir’ at night and eat ‘Bhelpuri’ at midnight, as prohibition is in force in the neighboring state.

Bharatiya Janata Party veteran Uma Bharti has sought to link the rise in cases of crime against women in her party-ruled Madhya Pradesh to liquor consumption and prompted liquor shops to flout rules at cow shelters. Have done

Ending her four-day stay at a Bhopal temple on Tuesday, Bharti announced the launch of a “Madhushala Mein Gaushala” program in support of her demand for a “controlled” liquor policy in Bhopal. State.

On Saturday afternoon, the former Madhya Pradesh chief minister arrived at a temple located near a liquor shop in the state capital’s Ayodhya Nagar Tirahe and announced that she would remain there till January 31, waiting for the government to announce a new liquor policy. Huh.

He ended his four-day stay at the temple on Tuesday as the state government delayed the announcement of the liquor policy.

Addressing the media here, Bharti claimed that a liquor shop located near the famous Ram Raja Sarkar temple at Orchha in Niwari district, about 350 km from Bhopal, was illegal.

“Without waiting for the liquor policy, I will start the work of converting liquor shops being run in violation of rules into gaushalas,” she said.

Bharti said she has asked people to arrange for 11 cows to stand outside the ‘illegal’ liquor shop in Orchha.

“Will see who dares to stop me… will graze these cows and arrange water for them at the liquor shop,” said the former Union minister.

He said that governments are being formed in the name of Lord Ram, but permission has been given to open a liquor shop near the Ram Raja Sarkar temple in Orchha.

Citing an anonymous report, Bharti said BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh leads in crime against women and consumption of alcohol is one of the reasons for this disturbing trend.

Bharti said that it was because of the ‘magic’ of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that the BJP was winning the elections.

“In a democracy people have the option to choose good or bad people. When one has a choice between bad and very bad, people choose the bad, which is not an achievement… Forming a government is not a big deal, but developing a healthy society and the safety and future of women Making sure is a big deal. children,” the BJP leader said.

He alleged that a section of the BJP was trolling him over his campaign against liquor consumption and linking it with their political ambitions.

Bharti said that he has held the post of CM, worked as a Union Minister and is now only to attain the post of Prime Minister, but very few politicians can hold that top position.

He said, ‘Will I get that post (of prime minister) because of the prohibition movement? A section of the BJP is spreading such things.

Bharti also threatened that she would now start revealing what ministers, MPs and MLAs talk about during their meetings as such people are meeting her regularly.

The senior BJP leader said that during a meeting with Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the latter agreed to his suggestion of coming up with a “controlled” liquor policy.

Earlier, while addressing a gathering, Bharti claimed that women do not want schemes like the recently announced Ladli Bahna Yojana (targeted at women from economically weaker sections), rather they want a regulated liquor policy.

Bharti said women roam freely in Gujarat at night like ‘lionesses of Gir’ and eat ‘bhelpuri’ at midnight as prohibition is in force in the neighboring state.
