DUMKA: The circle officer (CO) of Udhwa, Vikram Mahli (56), was found dead in his rented house in the Rajmahal sub-divisional headquarters in Sahebganj district on Monday.
He was posted in Udhwa in 2021 and stayed at Rajmahal with his family members. His family members were not at home when he was found dead by his domestic help in the morning. The domestic help said she found the doors locked from inside and got no response despite knocking many times. She later called his driver and they get inside the house only to find him dead.
“The CO was suffering from several comorbidity conditions like hypertension and heart disease among others and was undergoing treatment,” SDO (civil) of Rajmahal Roshan Sah said.
