Udaipur beheading: Hungama 2 actress Pranitha Subhash says ‘Hindu life matters’

South actress Pranitha Subhash has joined the group of celebrities who condemned the horrific murder of a tailor named Kanhaiya Lal in Udaipur. The actress took to her social media handle to react strongly to the murder of the tailor, whose beheading video had gone viral. Pranitha, who recently made her Bollywood debut with Hungama 2, shared, “I wish I hadn’t seen the Udaipur video. The screams in the background will echo in our minds and haunt us for a long time to come. Or will it? # JusticeForKanhaiyaLal.”

In another tweet, he also shared a picture of himself holding a placard which read, “Hindu Lives Matter.” Sharing the picture, he wrote in the caption, ‘Anyone listening?

Before that, many celebrities including Kangana RanautSwara Bhasker, Anupam KheriOthers including Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri, Gauahar Khan and Urfi Javed also reacted strongly to the Udaipur news.

For the uninformed, two men slit the throat of a tailor in Udaipur on Monday, saying in a video post on social media that they were taking revenge for insults to Islam and creating communal tension in the Rajasthan city. At the same time, the main accused has been arrested by the police. NIA sources said that both the arrested accused may be taken to Delhi for questioning and their mobiles and electronic devices will be sent for forensic examination.
