Udaipur beheading case: Sources said that making a big disclosure, Khadim Gauhar Chishti of Ajmer Dargah had gone to Udaipur to meet Riyaz, an accused who beheaded the tailor Kanhaiya Lal on June 17.
Udaipur’s tailor Kanhaiya Lal was beheaded by two people of a particular community for posting a social media post in support of Nupur Sharma.
Gauhar Chishti had participated in a silent procession taken out in Ajmer on June 17 and gave provocative speeches.
According to sources, Gauhar Chishti had asked Riyaz to make a video after beheading him.
A designated NIA court on Tuesday remanded another accused arrested in the Udaipur tailor Kanhaiya Lal’s murder case to the agency’s custody till July 12.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) team produced the accused Mohammad Mohsin in the court amid tight security arrangements.
Special Public Prosecutor TP Sharma said, “After hearing the case, the court sent Mohammad Mohsin to NIA custody till July 12.”
Sources said Mohsin was arrested on Monday for his involvement in the conspiracy to kill Lal and conducting a reconnaissance of his shop.
On 2 July, the main accused – Riyaz Akhtari and Ghaus Mohammad – who were arrested hours after Lal was allegedly murdered on 28 June, and two other accused – Mohsin and Asif – who were allegedly arrested on 30 June. it was done. He was produced in the designated court, which is a special CBI court in Jaipur, amidst tight security arrangements, for his involvement in a conspiracy to kill the tailor and in reconnaissance of his shop.
The court had sent him to NIA custody till July 12.
