Two killed in Ukrainian shelling of Donetsk -Russian-appointed mayor

The Russian-backed mayor of the eastern Ukrainian city said on Telegram that two civilians died in Donetsk on Sunday after shelling by Ukrainian forces.

Alexey Kulemzin said that a young man born in 2005 and a woman born in 1956 died as a result of enemy fire.

Reuters was unable to immediately verify the report.

Earlier on Sunday, a civilian was killed in the southern Ukrainian city of Kherson in Russian military shelling, the local governor said.
