Two Army jawans arrested for taking bribe to help in recruitment: Ajmer Police | Ajmer News – Times of India

Ajmer: District police arrested two on Tuesday Army for allegedly taking personnel and a middleman bribe by promising to recruit Indian Army. Police is questioning him whether more people are involved in the racket.
According to the police, Bhupendra Singh of Nagaur has registered a case with Gandhinagar police station here alleging that he had given Rs 40,000 as advance to Manohar Tanwar, a resident of Jaipur, to enlist his cousin in the army. Ajmer On July 22, middleman Manohar Tanwar had allegedly demanded Rs 80,000 to ensure recruitment. But his cousin was not selected and Bhupendra asked Manohar to return the money.
Manohar claimed that he could not give the money as he had already given it to the army officers who were not returning it. Even after many attempts, Bhupendra failed to get his money back and registered a case.
Seeing the seriousness of the matter, Ajmer SP Jagdish Chandra Sharma constituted a District Special Team (DST) to investigate the matter. The team got information that Manohar and another person were in Ajmer.
‘Now check army recruitment network’
They arrested Manohar along with army hero Krishna Kumar Sharma. After interrogation, the team also arrested Naib Subedar Jitendra Singh from Jaipur. Police said they are now investigating the Army Recruitment Network.
