Twitter Starts Sharing Ad Revenue to Content Creators on Platform: Elon Musk

New Delhi: Twitter will then start sharing advertising revenue with creators to make the platform attractive to content creators. The microblogging platform has introduced an ad revenue sharing model and content creators will get a cut from the ads that appear in their reply threads. Account must be a member of Twitter Blue Verified to be eligible for the advertising revenue model. Tech billionaire and Twitter chief Elon Musk in his new tweet informed the users of the platform about the latest development.

Musk previously indicated that Twitter was working to open up multiple sources of monetization for content creators, similar to Instagram or YouTube. The objective would be to attract content creators from other platforms and encourage creators to create high-quality and engaging content on the microblogging site.

Musk further explained that there is much more to come on that front. He explained, “Twitter should be where a creator is most rewarded for their time and talent”. Musk has also indicated that Twitter’s legacy Blue Verified was unfortunately tainted and “will sunset in a few months”.
