Twitter Space hosts can now record and share conversations – Times of India

New Delhi: Twitter launched it club house Rivals – Space last year. Since then the company has rolled out several updates to improve the user experience for it. The micro-blogging website has now rolled out a new update, allowing hosts Twitter Space Chat to record and share your broadcasts.
With this rollout, Space Recording will initially be available to a limited number of Twitter Space hosts iOS (and all listeners on iOS and Android), and within a few weeks extends to all others. With the ability to record Spaces and share them across platforms, hosts are able to increase the value of their work the moment a Space goes live and allow listeners to play Spaces back and share it on their timelines. There is benefit to doing.

This new feature will enable anyone who was late in a Twitter Spaces broadcast to replay after the broadcast has ended and if the host has enabled recording. So, now the Twitter space will now have a link to a recording in tweets that are shared to promote the broadcast.
To create space recording, the host needs to toggle on ‘record space’ before launching the new space. Upon entering the space all participants will see a recording icon indicating that the space is being recorded. Once the space runs out, hosts will have access to the full-length recording for 30 days after the initial broadcast, during which time they can share it or Tweet This. Listeners will have the ability to play any recorded space directly from their timeline, as well as share the recorded space on their network.
Hosts can delete Space Recordings at any time, however, Twitter will keep a data file of it for a period of 30-120 days to investigate any abusive/hateful content. To playback the recorded space, the listener simply clicks the ‘Play Recording’ button on any space card in the timeline.
