New Delhi: The Center on Monday told the Delhi High Court that the social media giant Twitter Inc. India has failed to comply with the new IT regulations, which are the law of the land and are mandatorily required to be followed.
The Center, in an affidavit filed in the High Court, said that any non-compliance is a violation of the provisions of the IT Rules, due to which Twitter Losing his immunity provided under the IT Act.
The affidavit has been filed in response to a plea by advocate Amit Acharya, in which he claimed non-compliance of the new IT rules of the Center by the forum.
