TV actress Urvashi Dholakia has played the role of ‘Vamp’ in various daily serials. There is no doubt that Urvashi is one of the hottest vamps of the TV industry till date. But the actress is now tired of playing a sari-clad vamp and wants to explore new avatars. In a recent interview, Urvashi shared that though she loves the work she does in the industry, a certain stereotyping has taken place as well. “Somewhere, people stop seeing you outside the character you play. Now is the time for people to see my other colours.”

The actress said times have changed and she is once again keen to play a role that is iconic. Talking about the platform, Urvashi is not selective at all. “The medium can be any – television, OTT or movies,” she said.

Urvashi shared that it is best to put a smile on people’s faces during the pandemic, so she and her son have been doing the same. “It’s been a tough time for most of us and a little humor can be like medicine at times,” he said.
