But the actress is now tired of playing a sari-clad vamp and wants to explore new avatars. In a recent interview, Urvashi shared that though she loves the work she does in the industry, a certain stereotyping has taken place as well. “Somewhere, people stop seeing you outside the character you play. Now is the time for people to see my other colours.”

in an interview with etimesUrvashi revealed that she doesn’t mind playing a negative role or a character with gray shades, but it must be out of her purview which she has already done. The actress said times have changed and she is once again keen to play a role that is iconic. Talking about the platform, Urvashi is not selective at all. “The medium can be any – television, OTT or movies,” she said.

According to him, the most important thing that should happen is a spark that can light up the screen. From Dekh Bhai Dekh and Kasautii Zindagii Kay to Bigg Boss, Nach Baliye and Chandrakanta, the actress has a slew of unique and memorable shows.

Her character ‘Komolika’ in the popular daily soap Kasautii Zindagii Kay has gone down in history. Despite playing negative roles, Urvashi is loved by the audience and has a huge fan following. The actress also won the sixth season of Bigg Boss which showcased her popularity in Indian households.

Recently, the actress is making many funny videos on Instagram reels with her son Kshitij. Urvashi shared that it is best to put a smile on people’s faces during the pandemic, so she and her son have been doing the same. “It’s been a tough time for most of us and a little humor can be like medicine at times,” he said.
