Bravo Entertainment, the production house of this film revealed the title by uploading a motion poster of Kapkapiii on Instagram. The motion poster shows Shreyas and the rest of the cast including Tusshar, Siddhi Idnani, Sonia Rathee and others sitting in front of an Ouija board. The glass keeps moving on the board while all the actors look at the board with great curiosity. The most haunting part of the poster is a ghost-like figure watching the actors from outside the window. The caption reads,” A combination of Horror and Comedy you have never seen before! Laugh! Shiver! Laugh! Shiver! Repeat! when you say #aatmajidarshandona. #Motion Poster Out @bravoentertainment1! Releasing soon !.”

Director Sangeeth Sivan interacted with News 18 regarding this film and said, “The film is a nostalgic trip back to 2007 when young people lived together in a small house and enjoyed each other’s company without the distraction of smartphones and social media. They were more engaged with each other in person, playing games, telling stories and just hanging out. While every genre is challenging, comedy relies heavily on the chemistry and camaraderie between actors, as well as great lines. Horror, on the other hand, requires solid technique to create the desired mood. Combining these two genres is both fun and challenging.”
