A conversation between late actress Tunisha Sharma and Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh during a live session is going viral.
Tunisha Sharma’s death has left her family, friends and fans in shock. Days after the Ali Baba actress allegedly died by suicide, a video of her in which Sharma is seen having a conversation with Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh surfaced on social media. Tunisha wore a gray hoodie as she chatted with Diljit in Punjabi. The two discussed winter in Mumbai, before Tunisha introduced her as an actress and told Diljit about the projects she was working on.
“Well I am an actor. I am an actress by profession,” Tunisha said. To this the singer replied, “Very good, very good” and asked, “What are you shooting for now?” Was doing a show. I started working at the age of 12,” Tunisha replied. This impressed Diljit who then said, “Oh wow. So you have been working (you were) for 12 years. You’re very active then.”
Tunisha then reveals to Diljit that she has worked in several films including Fitoor and Vidya Balan starrer Kahaani 2. The video ends with Diljit wishing Tunisha all the best. “All the best. You are doing a great job. Whole Punjab supports you. Everybody support him. And you keep doing such a good job,” he said.
Tunisha Sharma was found hanging in the makeup room of her show Ali Baba on 24 December. According to police officials, the 20-year-old actress went to the washroom on the sets and did not return for a long time. When the door was broken, she was found hanging inside. No suicide note has been recovered from the spot. A day after Tunisha’s death, her Ali Baba co-star Sheezan Khan was arrested after Sharma’s mother filed a complaint claiming that Khan used her daughter. Reportedly, the co-stars of Ali Baba dated each other and broke up just 15 days before Tunisha’s death. Meanwhile, Sheezan is currently in judicial custody. His bail plea will be heard on January 9.
