MumbaiBollywood actors Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput’s son Zain Kapoor turned a year older on Sunday (September 5). The little munchkin, who celebrates her birthday on Teacher’s Day, was born in 2018. On the occasion of Zain’s third birthday, Mira wrote a heartfelt post for him on social media.
Rajput shared a video in which he can be seen making a JCB toy for his child. He reveals that Zain is fond of JCB and happily spent two hours making a machine for him.
“Mom builder. Happy birthday my dear son Zain. JCB and your passion for construction sparked the day when you could just sit around with all your cement mixers and road rollers and I would gladly do this for you.” Will spend two hours recreating JCB. Build with your imagination and love as you do. I’ll be taking petrol kissies from you till you’re 20! God bless you my darling,” Mira said wrote on Instagram.
He continued, “You have my heart. This JCB came with 4 instruction manuals, 4 different screws and bits, and awesome pictures. But thanks dad for letting us play with mechanics as kids because I loved doing it (at least after the first hour my hands took a beating). I’ve always enjoyed making things, and that’s probably why I love IKEA but oh, glad it’s done! And it was totally worthwhile watching my little one light up his own JCB.”
Shahid and Mira welcomed their baby boy Zain Kapoor on September 5, 2018. They are also parents to Misha Kapoor, who turned five on 26 August.

On the professional front, Shahid will next be seen in ‘Jersey’. The sports drama is all set to hit the silver screens on November 5, 2021. If things go according to plan, the Mrunal Thakur and Pankaj Kapur starrer will clash with ‘Prithviraj’ at the box office. Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chillar will be seen in the lead roles in YRF’s ‘Prithviraj’.
Shahid will also make his digital debut with Raj and DK’s upcoming project. The web series also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Rashi Khanna.
