Truck crushed 14 laborers in Haryana: 3 died on the spot, 10 referred to PGI Rohtak; Were sleeping on KMP

After the accident, the truck overturned on the spot and the police investigating.

A truck crushed 14 laborers on the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway in Haryana’s Bahadurgarh city on Thursday morning. In the accident, 3 laborers died on the spot, while 11 were seriously injured. The truck also overturned after the accident. The police are involved in the investigation of the matter.

According to the information, road repairing work is going on around Asoda Toll at KMP. After doing the repair work till late in the night, all the 14 laborers slept with roadside barriers after getting tired. At around 5.30 am, a speeding truck crushed them. After that the truck overturned on the spot.

Police reached the spot as soon as the accident was reported. The bodies of the three people who lost their lives in the accident have been sent to the civil hospital for post-mortem. Of the injured, 10 have been sent to Rohtak PGI for treatment, while one injured is being treated at the Trauma Center in Bahadurgarh. At present, the police is investigating the matter.
