Tripura Board Secondary or Class 10 exams will start from March 16 and Higher Secondary or Class 12 exams will start from March 15.

Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) has released the Class 10 and 12 Board Exam Date Sheet 2023. Students ready to appear for the exam can check and download the TBSE Board Exam Time Table at tbse.tripura.gov.in.

As per the official notice, the Tripura Board Secondary or Class 10 exams will begin on March 16 with English paper and end on April 18 with the optional sixth subject. While the TBSE Higher Secondary or Class 12 exams will begin on March 15 with the English paper and end on April 19 with the sixth subject.

March 15 – English

March 17 – Bengali, Hindi, Kokborok, English

March 20 – Chemistry, Political Science, Sociology

March 22 – Business Studies, Physics, Education

March 24 – Accountancy, Biology, History

March 27 – Mathematics, philosophy

March 29 – Economics

April 1 – Psychology

April 3 – Geography

5 April – Sanskrit, Arabic, Statistics

Last year, the Tripura Board Secondary (Class 10) exams were conducted from April 18 to May 6, while the Class 12 board exams were conducted from May 2 to June 1. Over 43,000 students appeared in the Class 10 exam, while around 28,931 students appeared for the Tripura Board Class 12 exam. Last year the board exams were divided into two parts.

Meanwhile, in the 2021 Tripura Board exams, 80.62 per cent candidates were declared passed in the secondary (Class 10) exam, while the higher secondary result saw a pass rate of 95.20 per cent. However, after reviewing the results, Almost 99 percent of the candidates have passed from 10th and 12th board. TBSE chairman Bhavatosh Saha had said, “Almost all candidates of secondary and higher secondary will be promoted. This decision has been taken keeping in mind the review of the result and the protest of the students and other aspects. We requested the teachers of all the eight districts to re-check their evaluated marks. Some discrepancies were found during this exercise.”
