Bengal actress and Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Nusrat Jahan is expecting a baby and hence has been admitted to a private hospital. Nusrat can give birth to her first child by Thursday, 26 August. The actor went to the city hospital in South Kolkata’s Park Street area for a check-up on Wednesday morning.
According to a report in a leading Bengal daily, Nusrat’s expected date of delivery was late August or early September. However, she was admitted to the hospital on August 25 and is now expected to give birth on Thursday.
Earlier in June 2021, when the news of Nusrat Jahan’s pregnancy first surfaced, the actress shared some pictures on Instagram showing her baby bump. Nushrat captioned the post: “Daya changes everything (with a red heart emoji).” Commenting on Nushrat’s pregnancy, Nikhil Jain said that their marriage was broken, adding that they are no longer together. Both of us have been living separately for the past six months now, he said, adding that it was no longer his child.
Earlier, while talking about her marriage with Nikhil, Nusrat said that her marriage with Nikhil Jain was invalid in India. They tied the knot in 2019 in Bodrum, Turkey. After parting ways, Nushrat and Nikhil have deleted some of their pictures from social media, especially the ones in which the two shared the frame.

Also, there are rumors that Nushrat is now seeing Bengali actor Yash Dasgupta. On Tuesday, August 24, both the actors shared the same story on their Instagram handle, following which there were speculations that they went on an outing together.
