The loader tempo driver and his son were killed when an electric wire broke and fell during the rain in Durga Nagar of Sadar area of Agra on Friday night. The incident caused a furore in the family of the victim. Earlier in the day, two real sisters were killed when a wall collapsed in Etmadpur area.
Manohar Lal (50), a resident of Durga Nagar, used to drive the loader tempo with son Bhupendra (22). He was coming home with a tempo at around 9 pm on Friday night. During this, heavy rain was also coming. At a distance of ten meters from the house, the power supply wire of a house broke and fell on the tempo. Due to this the current spread in the tempo.

Father and son also got electrocuted. He started screaming. But could not come out due to rain. Even in the street people could not help. Later somehow the people of the area removed the wire. Then somewhere the father and son were taken out. He was taken to the hospital, where he died.
The incident caused a furore in the family. Police reached on information. Police sent the body for post-mortem. Inspector Ajay Kaushal, in-charge of the police station Sadar, said that the current had spread in the tempo due to the breaking of a wire for the supply of a house. Father and son did not even get a chance to recover.

The woman, her three daughters and a son were buried when the wall and roof of the house collapsed in village Nagla Natholi due to rain in Etmadpur area on Friday afternoon. The villagers took all four out. Seeing his critical condition, the family took him to Agra for treatment.
Doctors declared the woman’s two-year-old daughter dead after tests, while the second daughter also succumbed at 10.15 pm. The injured woman and her two children are undergoing treatment. On the other hand, there are reports of several houses collapsing in the Bah area.
