Trailblazer basketball player Satnam Singh turns pro-wrestling

Basketball player Satnam Singh Bhamara, who became the first Indian to join an NBA team before being banned for doping, has decided to try his hand at wrestling by signing a deal with a professional league in the United States.

Singh, 25, who made history in 2015 when he was selected in the NBA draft by the Dallas Mavericks, will begin his training to become a pro wrestler at the Nightmare Factory in Atlanta to compete in All Elite Wrestling. AEW).

Singh followed in the footsteps of NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, who fought alongside Jade Cargill in a mixed tag team match against Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet on “AEW: Dynamite” in March.

Singh is currently serving a two-year ban by the disciplinary panel of the National Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) for failing a dope test in 2019.

His suspension ends on November 19.
