The new SUV is loaded with a host of features and most importantly, an all-wheel-drive system which is a fair advantage against the competition. Toyota Urban Cruiser hider is slightly taller than Hyundai Creta. Looking at the stats, the Hyryder measures 4,365 mm in length, 1,765 mm in width and 1,635 mm in height. The Hyundai Creta, on the other hand, measures 4,300 mm in length, 1,790 mm in width and 1,635 mm in height. Apart from this, the difference continues in the wheelbase as well. The Hyryder has a wheelbase of 2,600 mm and the Creta’s wheelbase is 2,610 mm.

The Hyruder gets the biggest advantage with two engine options in the form of a 1.5-litre TNGA engine with electric motors along with its hybrid powertrain and the option of a 1.5-litre K-series engine. While the Hyundai Creta is powered by 1.5-litre MPI petrol and 1.4-litre Kappa Turbo GDI petrol. It also gets a diesel engine in the form of the 1.5-litre U2 CRDi engine.

The price of Toyota Urban Cruiser Haider is yet to be disclosed but it is expected to be priced between Rs 12 lakh to Rs 20 lakh, which is a much higher price range than its rival. The Hyundai Creta is priced at Rs 10.44 Lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 18.18 Lakh (ex-showroom).
