Toyota Urban Cruiser header interiors teased, features and design revealed

The Toyota Urban Cruiser header will soon be unveiled to the world, but before teasing, details, little by little, what the Japanese automaker is up to. The new model is expected to bring in a fair share of compact SUVs for the automaker. Moreover, this new SUV has been developed with the joint efforts of Maruti Suzuki and Toyota and is slated to be launched in the coming months. However, before the launch, a lot of information has come out from the teaser.

To start with the Toyota Urban Cruiser, the design of the hirer shares many similarities with Maruti Suzuki cars like automatic gear knob, automatic climate control, chrome door handles and most importantly 9-inch infotainment touch screen. Apart from this, the infotainment system is loaded with features like Smart Play Pro+. It will also have features like heads-up display (HUD) and 360-degree camera. These features can also be seen in the latest launch Maruti Suzuki Baleno.

Along with connected car technologies, the SUV has remote A/C start functionality. The front fascia of the Urban Cruiser Header features slim LED DRLs that are joined by a wide chrome stripe. A piano black background further highlights the chrome strip. A large grille at the bottom holds the license plate. Also, there is a black element all around the LED headlights, which are located below the LED DRLs.

There is also a silver skid plate at the bottom. There are 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels on the sides of the SUV, and a ground clearance of over 180 mm is estimated. A large ORVM has been added along with a camera, and a hybrid badge has been added to the front fenders.

There is no information on the powertrain of the Toyota Urban Cruiser Haider, but it is rumored that the compact SUV will feature mild-hybrid technology with a petrol engine. It can also get automatic transmission options with paddle-shifters. Which are also updated in the recently launched Maruti Suzuki cars like Baleno.
