Top Gun Maverick Box Office Collection Day 8

Top Gun Maverick Box Office Collection: After giving Tom Cruise his best opening weekend in his three-decade-long career, it should come as no surprise that the film marked the biggest film launch of his career. The Paramount film broke all Memorial Day box office records by earning $151 million. The record-breaking sequel to the legacy of Tony Scott’s 1986 original doesn’t stop there. The film also became Tom Cruise’s highest-grossing film at the domestic box office. Top Gun Maverick is inching towards another milestone of Rs 2500 crores globally. The film also remained steady at the Indian box office. It faced stiff competition from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 starring Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani and Tabu. But the fact cannot be denied that it outperformed Ayushmann Khurrana’s Manyk which released on the same day.

As reported by Box Office India, “The film has fared better than many, but it had a wide release of around 1800 screens, so the trade is not up to the mark. Still luck depends on Monday and if the film can do business.” It will get a good run in its Friday trading range.”

Earlier, trade analyst Ramesh Bala had announced how Top Gun: Maverick broke the Memorial Day weekend record breaking the 15-year-old record of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End. He tweeted, “#TopGunMaverick all-time No. 1 opening for #MemorialDay weekend in #NorthAmerica – $151 million.. surpasses #PiratesoftheCaribbeanAtWorldsEnd’s $139 million. WW opening $275 million.. @TomCruise (sic)” Best opening for.”

Tom Cruise recently took to his Twitter handle to thank his fans for their overwhelming support. He shared, “#TopGun: Thanks to everyone who watched Maverick and helped make this a historic opening weekend.”
