The Uttar Pradesh Law Commission has released the first draft of the ‘UP Population Bill, 2021’. Under the proposed Population Control Bill in Uttar Pradesh, any couple who follow the two-child policy will receive allowances from the government. The new bill has a provision to deprive people with more than two children from the benefits of government schemes.
