Tom Cruise Speaks Fluent Hindi During Mission Impossible Promotion, Desi Fans React To Viral Video

Hollywood star Tom Cruise is gearing up for the release of Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, the new film in the Mission: Impossible franchise. The film will be released in theaters on July 12. Prior to this, the actor is busy with interviews and promotional work for the film. In one such interview, the Hollywood heartthrob surprised Indian fans with his fluent Hindi speaking. Hence, the video clip of the interview went viral on social media in no time.

In the short video clip, the interviewer praises the actor for his extraordinary ability to do everything. Significantly, Tom Cruise is known to have skills ranging from playing the guitar to flying a plane. While the interviewer continues to praise her for speaking French in the film, she asks him, “Is there anything you can’t do? Will he speak Hindi with me?”

Answering his question, Tom says, “If you want me to speak to you in Hindi, I will. Let’s try.” First he said to her, “Hello. How are you?” Tom did a great job pronouncing the word. The interviewer’s mastery of Punjabi and Farsi thrilled him even more, and he wanted to continue the discussion.

Ever since the video went viral, a whole bunch of fans have been infatuated with the actor. Impressed by Tom Cruise’s humility, a social media user said, “Love it, he is a very down to earth person.” Another user said, “Is there anything #TomCruise can’t do? He said, ‘Hi! How you doing?’ In my mother tongue Hindi with an Indian accent.”

Adding to the long list of Mission Impossible movies, the latest film in the franchise records the adventures of Ethan Hunt, a secret agent working for the Impossible Mission Force (IMF). The latest, Dead Reckoning Part One, will feature the work of Christopher McQuarrie, who also directed Rogue Nation and Fallout. The filming of the film began in 2020, just before the pandemic broke out. Later, due to COVID-19, the shooting was postponed. In the UK, filming resumed in the second half of 2020. Even though the film was due out in 2021, its release got delayed several times due to the pandemic.
