New Delhi, January 15 (IANS) | A video has surfaced of an acid-like substance being thrown at a man after a fight over a pet dog in Delhi’s Uttam Nagar area.The man, identified as Rajeshwar, is the father of Abhishek Kumar, who had taken his pet dog out for a walk.
According to the information, the police got the information about the incident at around 10 pm on Saturday night that acid has been thrown on a person.
“The residents of a house got into a fight with a man who was taking the dog for a walk. He alleges that the dog made the place in front of his house dirty. This led to a fight between the groups. It is alleged that the people of the house threw poisonous substance on the other side.
Police said that prima facie it appears that toilet cleaning liquid was used.
The police also claimed that they recovered a toilet cleaner liquid bottle from the house of the accused.
The accused have been taken into custody after registering a case.
Further investigation is on in the matter.
