It was loaded into an aircraft named Enola Gay. Pilot Paul Tibbets was flying this plane. The bomb was aimed at the AOE Bridge in Hiroshima. The bomb dropped from the plane at 8:15 in the morning and after 43 seconds it exploded over the Sheema clinic, some distance from its target.

Apart from this, thousands of people were injured, became victims of atomic radiation and they also got cancer. The wounds of this tragedy are still present in the people of Japan.
