Amitabh Bachchan turned 81 on October 11. The occasion was marked by an outpouring of birthday wishes from all quarters. Fans and top celebrities alike sent their love and wishes for good health to the legendary actor. However, the sweetest wish came from his granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda. With two black and white unseen pictures, Navya Nanda simply wrote: “Happy Birthday, Nana.”

Even Abhishek Bachchan penned a heartwarming birthday note for his father. Along with a picture of two, he wrote, “My idol, my hero, my inspiration and my best friend! Happy 81st birthday, Pa. Love you and always got your back.”
Just like every year, at the stroke of midnight on October 11, a large crowd gathered outside Big B’s residence, Jalsa, to celebrate the special occasion. Some of his devoted fans came sporting t-shirts adorned with his image, others brought placards bearing birthday wishes. Big B surprised them by stepping out and interacting with his fans. With folded hands, Big B expressed his gratitude for the abundant good wishes and unwavering support from his admirers.
Amitabh Bachchan has several exciting movies in his pipeline. He will be seen in Ganapath, directed by Vikas Bahl. The movie will also feature Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon. He also has Kalki 2898 AD and Intern, a remake of the 2015 film of the same name starring Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway, with Deepika Padukone.
