Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla are BFF goals. Their friendship dates back to the time when they started working in the industry. Apart from working in several hit films together, SRK and Juhi have ventured into several businesses including co-owning a production house and an IPL team – Kolkata Knight Riders. Shahrukh and Juhi have been very close to each other’s family apart from their professional life. The friends have repeatedly expressed their affection and support for their children. This time too, the Pathan actor was seen cheering for Juhi Chawla’s daughter, who recently completed her graduation from Columbia University.
When Juhi Chawla shared a picture of her daughter Jhanvi Mehta on the day of her convocation, Shah Rukh Khan was among the first to shout her “jaanz”. Jhanvi Mehta has completed her graduation from New York’s Columbia University. This is the same place from where her father and Juhi’s husband Jai Mehta graduated. One of those star kids who stay away from the media spotlight, Janhvi was spotted several times with her mother and was also seen with Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan at the IPL auction last year.
On the work front, the duo has shared the screen in films like Yes Boss, Darr, Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman and Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani.
Shahrukh Khan will next be seen in Jawan. The film will release in September. The Atlee directorial also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi. Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan created a huge bang at the box office. The spy-thriller, which released in January, also starred Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. Pathan went on to become the highest-grossing Hindi film in the history of cinema. From songs to dialogues, the Siddharth Anand directorial ticks all the boxes. Pathan also became the first Indian film to premiere in Bangladesh after the partition of the country.
Shah Rukh Khan is also in the pipeline along with Taapsee Pannu.
