Times Square colored in the colors of Ram Lalla

With religious enthusiasm building up ahead of the great ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, people flocked to New York’s famed Times Square on Monday to commemorate the momentous occasion. Several footage of Hindus taking part in the festivities at Times Square have circulated on social media channels.

Ram Mandir Consecration Ceremony In Ayodhya

Hundreds of Lord Ram devotees were seen playing dhols, giving sweets, singing bhajans, and dancing near the economic hub while chanting ‘Jai Shri Ram’. The much-awaited ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of the Ram Lalla idol will take place today, with PM Modi and several other dignitaries in attendance.

The Indian diaspora lighted Times Square with a stunning celebration of Pran-Prathistha at Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. Dressed in traditional Indian dress, they fervently recited bhajans and songs, demonstrating India’s cultural legacy, liveliness, and unity. The Consulate General of India in New York commented on X, sharing photos of the magnificent event at Times Square.

Times Square To Live Stream Pran Pratishtha Ceremony

Times Square will livestream the major consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple, which is slated to take place in Ayodhya today, to mark the event. Sony presented Srimad Ramayana in Times Square on Sunday. Several temples across the United States are also preparing to celebrate the consecration ritual, with thousands of Indian Americans anticipated to attend a variety of festivities.

To commemorate the occasion, several car parades have been organized in over 20 cities around the United States. The largest car rally will take place in the Bay Area, California, with over 600 cars scheduled to participate. The VHP of America has also rented outdoor sites around the country to telecast the Ram temple consecration ceremony.
