If this rule is implemented, it can be a response to the allegations of nepotism by the BJP on the part of the Congress. Apart from this, the tenure of Congress committees can be fixed for 3 years. Changes can be stamped after discussing all these issues in the Chintan Shivir. Let us inform that in the Congress Working Committee meeting held on Monday, Sonia had asked all the leaders to repay the party’s debt.

There may be special provision in the ‘one family one ticket’ rule
If sources are to be believed, Congress may also bring special provisions in the form of ‘one family, one ticket’. Sources said that if this rule comes, then the leader who has worked in the party for at least 5 years and his family members active in the party will be considered eligible to be given ticket. If the special provision is implemented, then more than one person from the Gandhi family will be able to contest elections.

There may be an idea to make an election wing
A separate election wing will also be considered for managing and coordinating the election campaign. A general secretary will also be appointed for this wing. It can also be discussed in this meeting that young leaders below 50 years of age should be included in the party and 50% of the senior positions should be reserved for them.
