An elderly woman saved a passenger train going from Etah to Tundla in Uttar Pradesh. Seeing the broken track, he waved the pallu of his sari. Seeing this, the pilot (driver) stopped the train. After the track was repaired, the train was rerouted. The incident took place near Gularia village in Abagarh block of Etah district.

The incident happened near Kusba railway station

In fact, around 8 am on Thursday, the Etah-Jalesar-Tundla passenger train was going from Etah to Tundla. The track was broken in Kusba village. Omvati, a resident of Gularia village, was going towards her farm by the same path. His attention went to the broken track and saw that the train was also about to come. To prevent the untoward incident, he immediately took a big decision and got the train stopped with his red sari.

When the pilot asked Omvati the reason why he stopped the train, he took her and showed the broken track. After this the train stopped for half an hour and the railway team was called to repair the track. After the track was repaired, the train left.
