Ghaziabad: A disturbing video has surfaced on internet where a woman can be seen hanging to a ceiling fan. The incident was reported from Ghaziabad district in Uttar Pradesh.
The victim has been identified as Pinky Gupta (24) who used to work as receptionist at a gym. As per media reports, a note has been recovered in which, the victim had accused her live-in partner behind her extreme step.
Pinky Gupta was sharing a flat with Shakib Ali who also worked in the same gym after she left her home as they fell in love with him. However, one day the woman got to know that the accused was already married would not marry her that put her in deep shock.
This is said to be the reason behing the woman ending her life.
The dead body of the girl was found in a house in Vaishali, Ghaziabad. On Thursday night, the girl died allegedly by hanging. Sakibvaisha had hidden the truth of her marital status from Pinky and was living with her in a same house.
The two were living together for the last four years in Vaishali as they rented a house there. After spending this much time, the girl started pressurising Shakib to marry her, but Shakib wanted her to be with him just as a friend.
There was tension between the two regarding this. Following which, both of them had dinner together on Thursday, after which Shakib went out of the house for a walk. After some time the neighbors told Shakib on the phone that the girl had hanged herself from the fan.
Girl’s diary revealed
Police reached the spot after receiving information about the girl and found a diary and phone. ACP Swatantra Kumar Singh told that the girl was writing a diary since 2018.
The girl had written on the last page of the diary, “I am ashamed of myself. I was fighting with you and myself for you. Everybody tried to explain me about this, but I could not see anything in front of you. I even thought of changing my religion. I thought of accepting everything about you. I thought that somehow this guy should become mine, but you still didn’t understand. I can’t bear all this anymore… Goodbye Shakib,” claimed a local media Tricity news.
