New Delhi: A day after some miscreants attacked his residence in the national capital, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Monday alleged that those who “believe in the ideology of Nathuram Godse” are behind the attack. Stating that he was “ready to die” for his cause, Owaisi said that it is the nation which has to consider whether those who use violence will make the country stronger. Asaduddin Owaisi’s Delhi Residence Attacked


Police said some unidentified miscreants had pelted stones at Owaisi’s residence on Sunday evening, damaging the windows. The incident took place around 05.30 pm at the AIMIM chief’s Delhi residence in Ashoka Road area.

Following information, a Delhi Police team led by an Additional DCP visited his residence and collected evidence from the spot. Owaisi, in his complaint at the Parliament Street police station, had earlier alleged that a group of miscreants pelted stones and damaged windows at his residence.

“I reached my residence at 11:30 pm. On returning, I found window panes broken and stones/rocks lying all around. My domestic help informed that a group of miscreants pelted stones at the residence at around 5:30 pm. Throw it.” Owaisi alleged.

The AIMIM chief also said that this is the fourth such attack on his residence. “This is the fourth time such an attack has taken place.
