In his cabinet reshuffle, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has retained 11 members from the previous team and introduced 14 new faces. Subsequently, senior Jana Sena Party leader Konidela Nagendra Babu, popularly known as Naga Babu, took a dig at the members who were ousted from the cabinet.
Naga Babu wrote that he felt sorry for those who held ministerial positions and were now thrown out of the cabinet. Known for his satirical style, Naga Babu further wrote that he could feel tears of sadness for those dropped from the new cabinet. Naga Babu wrote that the ministers who are still disappointed after being snatched away, should have cared about the public.
According to the Rudra Veena actor, those who are feeling disheartened after being out of the cabinet today cannot understand the grief of farmers who died by suicide. The veteran actor wrote that his grief is nothing compared to the youth who ended their lives in despair due to unemployment.
The senior actor also wrote that if the minister wants to express grief, then he should display this sorrow on the citizens suffering from hunger, lack of infrastructure and other problems.
Naga Babu said that it would be better for the deposed ministers to focus on the problems of the people instead of wasting their time expressing grief over the cabinet reshuffle. According to the veteran actor, it remains to be seen how the new ministers address the problems of the citizens.
The members who have not been retained are very upset with the decision of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Many people have also said that they will leave the assembly.
